Open university places

You haven’t gotten a spot in your favorite degree program yet?

There are still ways to apply for a degree program at the University of Hohenheim - even if you missed the first application deadline. You can either apply for open-admission programs or for a free study place in selected programs with a limited number of places.

Application by lottery

The degree programs with a limited number of places for which an application by lottery is still possible are published here. This means that if more eligible applications are received than there are places available, a decision will be made by random selection. (List is continuously updated).

How can I apply?

You can apply directly online in our application portal for the available study places.

Application portal

Bachelor's application: When you apply online, you must upload a copy of your university entrance qualification.

Master's application: Information on the required first degrees and, if applicable, language skills can be found on the application pages of the respective degree programs.

If you are admitted, you will receive the admission letter in the application portal HohCampus.
If applying in the lottery procedure: The enrollment deadlines are usually very short. Rejection letters are not sent.
